The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
